Long Service Certificate awarded

Audience AGM 2019

Andy Hunt received his Long Service Certificate from Chief Executive Ray Wilkinson for 15 years at East Anglia RFCA.

Not only has Andy Hunt worked at the East Anglia RFCA for 15 years, but he has held the same role at Beds & Herts ACF the entire time.

Andy joined East Anglia RFCA when he left the Armed Forces after 22 years in the Royal Armour Corps (RAC), leaving as a WO2. Andy brought his depth of experience and organisational skills to the fore during a challenging transitional process when Bedfordshire and Hertforshire ACF merged in 2008.

He is a highly respected team member, a notably persuasive speaker, and highly effective in his duties. He has in his time at Beds & Herts ACF successfully helped countless Cadet Adult Volunteer staff. He is the Cadet Administrative Assistant (CAA) for 4 Company at Beds & Herts ACF, an important role within the Permanent Support Staff team, which includes stores management, and Safety, Health, Environmental and Fire management across 8 sites.

Jim Cousens, CEO of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire ACF said: “This is a very well deserved award for a committed and dedicated member of staff who is known amongst the permanent staff for leaving no stone un-turned when striving for successes.”

At East Anglia RFCA, we endeavour to celebrate our people and one of the ways we do this is through the Long Service & Good Conduct Certificates. Seven of our present staff hold this certificate for their 15 years in East Anglia RFCA.
