Army Cadets in East Anglia

In East Anglia, the Army Cadet Force is organised into six counties. Visit the relevant county page to find out more:

Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire ACF

Cambridgeshire ACF

Essex ACF

Norfolk ACF

Suffolk ACF

Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk, with Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire treated as a single entity for ACF purposes.

RFCAs deliver administration services for ACFs on behalf of the British Army, ensuring all five ACFs in the region have safe places and safe equipment for their training.

Our team of permanent support staff undertake the following as part of those administrative services:

  • maintaining and running the headquarters for the ACF of each county in our region
  • administering the membership of Cadets and the adults who train them
  • providing logistics for equipment and fleet
  • offering the clerical support needed for Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) to train and supervist our Cadets.

Our permanent support staff are embedded in the ACF to provide those services in addition to the estate management, grounds maintenance and financial support available centrally from RFCA HQ Estates and Business Services staff.
