Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets attend a Royal Visit to Bedfordshire

Two of the Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadets recently supported Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire Colonel Chris Sharwood-Smith MBE on a Royal Visit to Bedfordshire by HRH The Princess Royal.

The cadets went first to London Luton Airport where HRH was greeted by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire Helen Nellis and was welcomed on arrival with a Guard of Honour by Air Cadets from 10F Luton Airport Squadron of the Air Training Corps.

The second part of the visit was at The Forest of Marston Vale where HRH dedicated the Forest to the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy.

HRH was greeted by Colonel Sharwood-Smith and was supported by Police Cadet Cindy Ziu from Bedfordshire Police and Fire Cadet Jasmin Khanom from Bedfordshire Fire & Rescue Service who opened the car doors for HRH and her Lady in Waiting on arrival and on departure.
