Reserves Day spotlight – 6 Army Air Corps

6AAC reservists

We are marking Reserves Day (Wednesday 24th June) by highlighting the commitment, professionalism and expertise of reservists who serve in 6 Regiment Army Air Corps (6 AAC).

6 AAC is the Army Air Corps’ dedicated Army Reserve regiment. It provides highly trained personnel who support military aviation operations in the UK and overseas. As part of the British Army’s combat aviation capability, reservists work alongside their regular counterparts in roles including groundcrew support, communications, logistics, and helicopter operations.

Their work helps keep Army Air Corps aircraft, including Apache and Wildcat helicopters, mission-ready and able to deliver vital support when needed.

Hear directly from two reservists from our region in the videos below, as they share their experiences of serving in the 6 AAC.

Find out more about becoming an Army reservist on the Army website.

Lance Corporal D, 677 Sqn, 6AAC.
