The Lady Dannatt MBE is His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk. She devotes her time and energy to representing the King in the county where she was born and raised.

Lady Dannatt’s principal aim is to serve the county’s residents through the time and energy she gives to voluntary and benevolent organisations, and by the interest she takes in the business and social life of Norfolk. She has been a lay canon at Norwich Cathedral and vice president of the Soldiers’, Sailors’ and Airmen’s Families Association (SSAFA). She is also patron of the charity Thornage Hall Independent Living, which supports adults with learning difficulties in Norfolk.
