Roof replacement at Peterborough Army Reserve Centre

New flat roof at Peterborough

Two sections of roof at the Peterborough Army Reserve Centre are being replaced by the RFCA Estates team.

The RFCA Estates team manages over 500 buildings across East Anglia and delivers a year-round programme of improvements that sits alongside capital projects and maintenance workstreams.

The Peterborough Army Reserve Centre is home to reserve units, including the Headquarters of 158 Regiment The Royal Logistics Corps, 200 (Peterborough) HQ Squadron RLC. It’s also the base for No 1 (Hereward) Company of the Cambridgeshire Army Cadets, its Fletton detachment and the Corps of Drums. The multi-occupancy site means the units are all able to make use of the facilities and ensures optimal use of the site.

The pitched roof over the Peterborough detachment of the band room was replaced, as well as a flat roof covering. The new insulated aluminium roof covering over the cadets’ area includes integral aluminium gutters for low-maintenance and durability.
