Pathfinder Magazine publishes ‘Most Influential People in the Military Community 2019’

Over the course of three issues, Pathfinder Magazine published a list of the ‘Most Influential People in the Military Community 2019’.

Col R Wilkinson 2019Three RFCA CEs, including our own Colonel (Retired) Ray Wilkinson QVRM TD DL VR have been mentioned as well as ACDS R&C, Brigadier Mark Van Der Lande CBE.

Col Wilkinson said: “This indicates a focus on Reserves & Cadets that perhaps hasn’t been there before.”

A supplement featured inside the leading resettlement magazine, the list showcases those deemed to have put the military community at the top of their agenda beyond the typical working day.

Pathfinder editor, Mal Robinson explains:

“Our list of people includes those we consider to be in the public eye, who have built an audience of which to inspire and influence.”

“By dubbing the list as the ‘military community’, this enables us to cover literally anything within the armed forces sector from cadets to serving personnel, to veterans, families, industry and beyond.”

“To be included in the list, people or companies need to be doing something we consider to be affecting change or highlighting the forces cause in one way or another, ranging from resettlement to security of the country.”

It is the first time this national resettlement magazine has produced such a list in its 28-year history.

Pathfinder editor, Mal Robinson said: “We felt the military community was missing a slice of recognition in general as one family and this felt the most appropriate way to highlight the good work across the whole of the armed forces sector.”

Robinson added: “The list is by no way definitive, however we did have to draw the line somewhere in terms of numbers on the list to make it exclusive to some extent. Whilst there will be some who have missed out, I’d like to think we have covered a lot of great work done by people in all walks of life from the Royal Family to small charities.”
