His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE CStJ Hon.LLD, recently appointed his cadets for the coming year. Six young people from the county’s Sea and Marine Cadets, Army Cadet Force, RAF Air Cadets and St John’s Ambulance Cadets will support the Lord-Lieutenant in some of his official duties around Herts on behalf of King Charles III.

The cadets took up their roles in a formal investiture ceremony held at Hertford Castle last month. Cadet Colour Sergeant Moran from the Royston Detachment of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Army Cadet Force (ACF) is one of this year’s all-female roster, joined in her new role by fellow cadet sergeants Ella Rajda and Gabrielle Ingram.

Leading Sea Cadet Dona Parry from the local Sea Cadets, Cdt Flt Sgt Lucy Waller from Herts and Bucks Air Training Corps and St John Cdt Cpl Maddison Moran make up the rest of the group. The Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire welcomed them individually as he completed their investiture.

East Anglia RFCA sends its congratulations to all six young women for their appointment to such a prestigious role.
