The High Sheriff of Essex, Dr. James Bettley JP DL FSA, awarded a certificate to Kristina Carrington for her “invaluable contribution to Law and Order within Essex”.
The High Sheriff in the citation, shown on the certificate below, commended Kristina’s sterling work which made a direct positive contribution to Law and Order within Essex.
He highlighted her support to the MPS Reserve company, supporting service leavers to gain employment, promoting the Armed Forces Covenant, and the positive effects of her networking events such as the Colchester Garrison employer breakfast.
In particular he praised her contribution to the collaborative manning partnership which now exists between the MPS regiment and HMP Whitemoor, where staff are supported to join the Reserves.
Kristina Carrington is the Regional Employer Engagement Director for East Anglia. It is an impartial role, created by the Ministry of Defence, to make information and support available to employers of a member of the Reserve Forces.
He added that Kristina contributes both professionally and in her spare time to making Essex a safer and more rewarding place to live and work, as she volunteers in the Essex Army Cadet Force where she is ranked Major and currently is the Adult Training Officer for the county.
