VACANCY – FULL TIME ESTATE MANAGER

We are looking for a Permanent Full Time Estate Manager based in our headquarters in Chelmsford, Essex. However, if you are interested in the role but could not regularly commute to Chelmsford, flexible working in the East Anglia region will be considered for the right candidate.

Are you an organised individual with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, who is computer literate, able to learn new systems quickly and able to work with minimum supervision? Good communication and inter-personal skills are also required.

Estate Manager

Range of tasks include:

  • Performance and Contract Management/Assurance.
  • Communication/Engagement and Stakeholder Management.
  • Programme Management.

This post is for 37 hours per week. This position attracts a current salary of £35,290 p.a. plus lots of additional benefits.

East Anglia Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (RFCA) is an arms-length public body of the Ministry of Defence, mandated to give advice to the Defence Council, manage the Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ estate, deliver community and employer engagement for Defence, and provide administration services to the Army Cadet Force.

The Estates team manage an impressive portfolio of around 200 Reserve Forces and Cadet sites across East Anglia and in addition to providing the management and upkeep of the estate, handle the acquisition and disposal of land and buildings, and adapt homes for injured service personnel.
