Want to learn more about Reserve Forces Medics? 254 Medical Regiment are hosting an Open Day on Saturday 31st January 2015 at Warley Army Reserve Centre and invite you to come along and join in.
The free-of-charge Open Day will run from 10am until 3.30pm and have a variety of stands where you can talk to Reservists about their personal experiences.
The Open Day will consist of various military activities where you can discover what it takes to be a Medic.
The Open Day marks the official arrival of 3 Troop, 220 Medical Squadron into Warley Army Reserve Centre. The troop will be co-located with a Transport Squadron from 151 Regiment RLC already based at the Reserve Centre and a detachment from 103 Battalion Royal Electrical and Medical Engineers which will be moving in early next year.
If you have spare time, the Medics have lots to offer including; Chefs, Human Resource Specialists, Storeman and Combat Medical Technicians. HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) Drivers need a Full UK Driving Licence and Ambulance Drivers also require this along with a HCP (Health and Care Professions Council Certificate).
There are opportunities for Medically qualified personnel looking to expand their experience; Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists and Psychiatrists, Pharmacists, HCP registered Paramedics and Environmental Health Officers and Technicians will all find rewarding roles in 254 Medical Regiment.
254 Medical Regiment, based at Warley Army Reserve Centre, specialises in providing the very highest standards of Primary Care and Pre Hospital Emergency Care for soldiers on operations, with additional opportunities for supporting roles.
