On Friday 21st March employers of reservists in Hertfordshire were honoured at an Employer Breakfast.
The event took place within the stunning vintage décor of Manor Barn, Knebworth House and was an occassion which recognised employers’ constant support for the Reserve Forces. Those who attended were treated to breakfast and talks from influential figures including Major Adrian Coulson, Officer Commanding of 3 (Essex & Hertfordshire) Coy, 3rd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment.
Certificates of support were handed out to supportive employers Hertfordshire Constabulary and East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust in recognition of the valuable contribution they make in supporting the Armed Forces.
Phillip Hammond, the Secretary of State for Defence signed the certificates and Colonel Chris Sharwood-Smith, Commandant of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Army Cadet Force presented each employer with the certificate.
Employer Engagement events like these recognise employers from across all 6 regions of East Anglia and are important to show employers how valuable their contribution to defence is.
