The Veterans & Families Research Hub was created as part of the Veterans and Families Institute for Military Social Research at ARU.

In 2017 the FiMT sponsored the university to run the Hub to carry out research; ongoing projects include translating the findings of recent research commissioned by FiMT into plain language insights that can be practically applied and understood by organisations that support veterans and their families.

The Hub is hosting its inaugural annual research conference on 11th October at which delegates can discuss the challenges and opportunities impacting on research into veterans and their families from the perspectives of academics, policy makers and service providers. Tickets can be booked at: https://www.vfrhub.com/event/forces-mind-trust-research-conference/
