The 3rd Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment Arrive in Peterborough

The Peterborough Army Reserve Centre (ARC) has some new occupents: 3rd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment have returned to the same place that the 5th Battalion used to called home and where The Band of the Royal Anglian Regiment still parade.

Commanding Officer of 3rd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Keith Spiers TD is delighted that the Regiment have arrived back on Peterborough soil and said;

3rd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment are looking forward to building on its existing links with the people of Peterborough. The formation of an Infantry Rifle Platoon at Peterborough Army Reserve Centre will offer additional Reserve opportunities to those already provided by 158 Regiment Royal Logistics Corps and will help develop an exciting, varied and challenging experience for those people interested in joining the Army Reserve. We look forward to welcoming newcomers into the 3 Royal Anglian Family.”
