Colonel Andrew Every MRICS MCGI VR had a career in commercial teams in the construction industry until his retirement in 2022.He also retired from the Army Cadet Force in 2022 and Reserve Service in 2018.

Andrew joined the Territorial Army in 1979 as a gunner with 201 Battery RA / 100 Regiment in Luton. Commissioned in 1997, he was appointed Battery Commander in 2001. His Service also included posts as QM (Tech) 100 Regiment RA, watch leader for National Reserve HQ RA Woolwich, and augmentee for ARRC and watch leader with BATUK in Kenya.

Andrew was appointed Deputy Commandant (Training) Beds & Herts Army Cadet Force in April 2006 for five years and then 7 Inf Bde Sports Manager. He was also responsible for ACF Sports up to National level, Duke of Edinburgh programme, First Aid and Community engagement. Andrew was appointed Commandant Beds & Herts Army Cadet Force in April 2016 for six years.

Andrew is a Member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors (MRICS), a committee member of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity Bedfordshire branch. He sits on both the Bedfordshire RFCA Forum and the Hertfordshire RFCA Forum. He was appointed Chair of East Anglia RFCA Estates Advisory Committee in 2023.
