VACANCY FOR A DEPUTY COMMANDANT SUFFOLK ARMY CADET FORCE

A vacancy has occurred for a Deputy Commandant in Suffolk Army Cadet Force, based at Ipswich. The County ACF comprises 23 detachments, with over 675 Cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers on strength.

The post of Deputy Commandant is a voluntary appointment. However, the successful applicant will be eligible to receive remuneration in the form of Volunteer Allowance (VA) for full day’s attendance and certain other allowances for subsistence and travel when on ACF duty in accordance with ACF Regulations and within the limits advised by their Commandant.

Candidates must hold or have held a Land Forces or a Cadet Forces commission.

It is a requirement under the Disclosure and Barring Services Code of Practice that this position requires an “Enhanced Disclosure” prior to appointment.

The Secretariat (7 Bde MS) reserves the right to contact an applicant’s current Commandant (or Commanding Officer in the case or Regular or Army Reserve applicants) to ask for a reference where this is deemed necessary.

VACANCY FOR A COMMANDANT – CAMBRIDGESHIRE ARMY CADET FORCE

A vacancy will occur in September 2020 for a Commandant in Cambridgeshire Army Cadet Force, based at Cambridge. The County ACF comprises 31 detachments, with over 850 Cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers on strength.

The post of Commandant is a voluntary appointment. However, the successful applicant will be eligible to receive remuneration in the form of Volunteer Allowance (VA) for full day’s attendance and certain other allowances for subsistence and travel when on ACF duty in accordance with ACF Regulations and within the limits advised by Brigade.

Candidates must hold or have held a Land Forces or a Cadet Forces commission.

It is a requirement under the Disclosure and Barring Service Code of Practice that this position requires an “Enhanced Disclosure” prior to appointment.
