Employer Engagement (EE) is the principal means of communication between employers and the Ministry of Defence on matters of military personnel.
For many Army Reservists, successful service in the Army is dependent upon being able to manage the separate demands of the army, family and their civilian employer. In accordance with current regulations, the MOD strongly encourages Reservists to notify their civilian Employers of their Army Reserve status. It is vital to ensure that if the relationship is to work, it must be as open and transparent as possible.
SaBRE (Supporting Britain’s Reservists and Employers) provides a significant wealth of experience and support to both Reservists and Employers. SaBRE has a website and a helpline for Army Reservists and employers seeking guidance on the Reservist-Employer relationship.
If you would like to show your support for the Reserve Forces click here or to find out more please contact Kristina Carrington, Regional SaBRE Campaign Director in East Anglia on 01245 244817 or visit the SaBRE website. The SaBRE helpline number is 0800 389 5459.
