VACANCY FOR A COMMANDANT SUFFOLK ARMY CADET FORCE

A vacancy will occur in January 2018 for a Commandant in Suffolk Army Cadet Force, based at Ipswich. The County ACF comprises 22 detachments, with over 600 Cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers on strength.

The post of Commandant is a voluntary appointment. However, the successful applicant will be eligible to receive remuneration in the form of Volunteer Allowance (VA) for full day’s attendance and certain other allowances for subsistence and travel when on ACF duty in accordance with ACF Regulations and within the limits advised by their Commandant.

Candidates must hold or have held a Land Forces commission.

It is a requirement under the Disclosure and Barring Service Code of Practice that this position requires an “Enhanced Disclosure” prior to appointment.

The Secretariat (7 Bde MS) reserves the right to contact an applicant’s current Commandant (or Commanding Officer in the case or Regular or Army Reserve applicants) to ask for a reference where this is deemed necessary.

VACANCY FOR A DEPUTY COMMANDANT NORFOLK ARMY CADET FORCE
A vacancy has occurred for a Deputy Commandant in Norfolk Army Cadet Force, based at Dereham. The County ACF comprises 26 detachments, with over 650 Cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers on strength.
