VACANCY – FULL TIME GRADUATE SURVEYOR

Start date April/ May 2017
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Graduate Surveyor at East Anglia Reserve Forces and Cadets Association office, located close to Chelmsford city centre.

As a public sector organisation with Crown status, we are looking for an organised individual with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, who is computer literate and able to learn new systems quickly and work with the minimum of supervision. Good communication and inter-personal skills are required.

Range of tasks include:

-Assist with compilation and submission of Short Term Plans (STP) for capital Works and Property Management.

-Assist with the development of long-term building programme and the Building Life Cycle Replacement (BLCR) plan.

-Manage the delivery of the works services and FM programmes.

-Make measured/level surveys of buildings/sites and prepare drawings there from.

-Evaluate and authorise contractors invoice accounts.

This post is for 42 hours per week including lunch breaks. This position attracts a current salary of £24,663 p.a.

You will also be given the chance to progress your education through membership of the CIOB or RICS. This amazing opportunity will be funded by the RFCA (subject to terms and conditions).

Additional benefits include a generous defined benefit pension scheme, annual leave of 25 days plus public holidays (rising to 30 days after 5 years of service) and free on-site parking.

VACANCY – ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (EMPLOYER ENGAGEMENT)

A thrilling opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Administrative Officer (Employer Engagement) at East Anglia Reserve Forces and Cadets Association, located close to Chelmsford City centre, Essex (CM2 6BU).

We are widely recognised as the most valuable, knowledgeable and authoritative body in support of reserve forces and cadet organisations in East Anglia.
 

As a public organisation with Crown status:

-We champion our local MOD sponsored youth organisations, sustaining 250+ units.

-We nurture enduring networks with employers and local authorities, supporting Reserves and Cadets.

We are looking for a highly organised individual with excellent numeracy and literacy skills, computer literate, able to learn new systems quickly and work with minimum supervision. Good communication and inter-personal skills are essential along with a knowledge of Customer Relations Management (CRM) databases.

The Administrative Officer (Employer Engagement)’s range of tasks include:

-Maintenance of the CRM database.

-Assist with the delivery of the Employer Engagement plan.

-Assist with preparation of events and event communications.

VACANCY FOR A COMMANDANT

SUFFOLK ARMY CADET FORCE

A vacancy will occur in January 2018 for a Commandant in Suffolk Army Cadet Force, based at Ipswich. The County ACF comprises 22 detachments, with over 600 Cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers on strength.

The post of Commandant is a voluntary appointment. However, the successful applicant will be eligible to receive remuneration in the form of Volunteer Allowance (VA) for full day’s attendance and certain other allowances for subsistence and travel when on ACF duty in accordance with ACF Regulations and within the limits advised by their Commandant.

Candidates must hold or have held a Land Forces commission.

It is a requirement under the Disclosure and Barring Service Code of Practice that this position requires an “Enhanced Disclosure” prior to appointment.

The Secretariat (7 Bde MS) reserves the right to contact an applicant’s current Commandant (or Commanding Officer in the case or Regular or Army Reserve applicants) to ask for a reference where this is deemed necessary.

NORFOLK ARMY CADET FORCE
